The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia in terms of Regulation 32(1) of the Regulations regarding the National Numbering Plan for Namibia for use in the provision of Telecommunications Services in the Republic of Namibia, Numbering Licence Fees and Procedures for Number Licences (Amended) as published in Government Gazette No. 5983, General Notice No. 97 dated 1 April 2016, hereby gives notice of the following decisions:

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 53(7) OF THE COMMUNICATIONS ACT, 2009 (ACT NO. 8 OF 2009) READ WITH THE REGULATIONS REGARDING THE SUBMISSIONS OF INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENTS AND TARIFFS
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms section 53(1) and (7) of the Communications Act read with regulation 8 of the 'Regulations Regarding the Submission of Interconnection Agreements and Tariffs', in Government Gazette No. 4714, General Notice No. 126, dated 18 May 2011, herewith gives notice that it has approved:
- WiFiberPro Packages as submitted by Witel Service Provider (Pty) Ltd, which came into force and effect on 11 December 2020 , notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette ; and
- Line Rental Uncapped Packages as submitted by IT Guru Solutions cc, which came into force and effect on 11 December 2020 , notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette ; and
- Blue Air Fiber Tariffs as submitted by Blue Telecommunication cc, which came into force and effect on 11 December 2020 , notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette ; and
- E-Learning Data Bundles as submitted by Mobile Telecommunications Limited, which came into force and effect on 11 December 2020 , notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette ; and
- SkyFi Packages as submitted by Paratus Telecommunications Namibia (Pty) Ltd, which came into force and effect on 17 January 2021 , notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette ; and
- Streaming Data Bundles as submitted by Mobile Telecommunications Limited, which came into force and effect on 3 February 2021 , notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette ; and
- Transfer of Licence and Transfer of Control of Licence as submitted by Witel Service Provider cc, which came into force and effect on 29 December 2020 respectively, notwithstanding the date of publication of the Notice in the Gazette .

NOTICE IN TERMS OF REGULATION 19(1) OF THE REGULATIONS REGARDING LICENSING PROCEDURES FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND BROADCASTING SERVICE LICENCES: COMMUNICATIONS ACT, 2009
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms Regulation 19(1) of the Regulations Regarding Licensing Procedures for Telecommunications and Broadcasting Service Licences, published in Government Gazette No. 4785, General Notice No. 272, dated 29 August 2011 (as amended), hereby gives notice of the following decisions:
1. Applications for Telecommunications Service Licence
- a) The Authority resolved to award Namibia Water Corporation Limited a Class (ECNS) Telecommunications Service License.
- b) The Authority resolved to award Kalkfeld Farmers Association a Class Telecommunications Service License (Non-profit ECNS).
- c) The Authority resolved to award Tulive Private Equity (Pty) Ltd a Class Network Facilities Telecommunications Service License.
- Application for a Broadcasting Service Licence
- a) The Authority resolved to award a Commercial Broadcasting Service License to Otji Investment CC .
- Applications for Extension of Period of Commencement of Services
- a) The Authority resolved to grant the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Windhoek an extension of a period of twenty-four (24) months, from 23 July 2021, to commence with the commercialization of its fiber monetization project.
- b) The Authority resolved to grant Data Continuity Namibia (Pty) Ltd an extension to commence utilisation of its Class Network Facilities Telecommunications Service Licence for a further period of twenty-four (24) months, from 31 December 2020.
The decisions under 1 and 2 above are effective from date of this Notice.
