NOTICE IN TERMS OF THE REGULATIONS REGARDING LICENSING PROCEDURES FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND BROADCASTING SERVICE LICENCES
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms of regulation 19(1) of the Regulations Regarding Licensing Procedures for Telecommunications and Broadcasting Service Licences, published as General Notice No. 272, in Government Gazette No. 4785, on 29 August 2011 (as amended), hereby gives notice that the decision as published in Government Gazette No. 7884, General Notice 425 on 24 August 2022 with respect to the Transfer of Licences and Control of Mobile Telephone Networks Business Solutions (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd is effective from 10 June 2021, not 19 March 2021 as set out in that gazette notice.

NOTICE IN TERMS OF REGULATION 19(1) OF THE REGULATIONS REGARDING LICENSING PROCEDURES FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND BROADCASTING SERVICE LICENCES: COMMUNICATIONS ACT, 2009
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms Regulation 19(1) of the Regulations Regarding Licensing Procedures for Telecommunications and Broadcasting Service Licences, published in Government Gazette No. 4785, General Notice No. 272, dated 29 August 2011 (as amended), hereby gives notice of the following decisions:
1. Applications in respect of Telecommunications Service Licences
- a) The Authority resolved to award a Class Telecommunications Service Licence (Non-Profit ECNS) to Wanderport Namibia Trust .
- b) The Authority resolved to award a Class Comprehensive Telecommunications Service Licence (ECS and ECNS) to Pektech Technologies CC.
2. Applications for in respect of Broadcasting Service Licences
- a) The Authority resolved to renew the Community Broadcasting Service Licence of Channel Seven Media for Christ .
- b) The Authority resolved to renew the Commercial Broadcasting Service Licence of Radio 100 (Pty) Ltd.
General Notices
COMMUNICATIONS REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF NAMIBIA
- c) The Authority resolved to renew the Community Broadcasting Service Licence of the University of Namibia t/a Unam Radio.
- d) The Authority resolved to renew the Commercial Broadcasting Service Licence of EFM Radio CC.
- e) The Authority has resolved to approve the application for the withdrawal of the Commercial Broadcasting Service License and Spectrum Licences awarded to Trustco Mixed Marketing (Pty) Ltd.
The decisions above are effective from date of this Notice.
The full reasons for the decisions can be requested from the Authority. In terms of section 31 of the Communications Act, 2009 (Act No. 8 of 2009), the Authority may, on its own motion or on a petition filed by an aggrieved party to any proceedings, reconsider any order or decision that it has made, within 90 days from the date of this notice.

NOTICE IN TERMS OF REGULATION 4(1) OF THE REGULATIONS PRESCRIBING PROCEDURES REGARDING APPLICATION FOR, AND AMENDMENT, RENEWAL, TRANSFER AND CANCELLATION OF SPECTRUM LICENSES: COMMUNICATIONS ACT, 2009
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms of regulations 4(1) of the Regulations Prescribing Procedures Regarding Application for, and Amendment, Renewal, Transfer and Cancellation of Spectrum Licenses, published as General Notice No. 104, Government Gazette No. 6888, on 29 April 2019, herewith gives notice that the following radio frequencies under the Frequency Band Plan are available for application to be conferred on a first-come-first-serve basis:
