The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms of regulation 12(9) of the Regulations prescribing Procedures regarding Application for, and Amendment, Renewal, Transfer, and Cancellation of Spectrum Licenses, published in Government Gazette No. 6888, as General Notice No. 104, on 29 April 2019 as amended 30 August 2021, herewith gives notice that the Authority has issued the persons referred to in the table below with an amendment notice:

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR RECONSIDERATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 31 AND REGULATIONS 36(2) OF THE REGULATIONS PRESCRIBING PROCEDURES REGARDING APPLICATION FOR, AND AMENDMENT, RENEWAL OR TRANSFER OF SPECTRUM LICENSES: COMMUNICATIONS ACT, 2009
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia, in terms of section 31 of the Communications Act, 2009 read with regulations 36(2) of the 'Regulations prescribing Procedures regarding Application for, and Amendment, Renewal or Transfer of Spectrum Licenses, published in Government Gazette No. 6888, as General Notice No. 104, dated 29 April 2019, herewith gives notice that Paratus Telecommunications (Pty) Ltd has submitted an application for reconsideration, in respect of a decision by the Authority to decline Paratus Telecommunications (Pty) Ltd's spectrum licence application in the 2630-2650 MHz band range. The decision was published in Government Gazette No. 8654, as General Notice No. 332, dated 3 June 2025.
The reasons and grounds for the application for reconsideration are contained in the application that can be inspected at the offices of the Authority.
The public may submit comments in writing to the Authority within a period of fourteen (14) days from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette .
